      Not just for lawnmowers & generators

      Tried it in my four stroke generator and it started first pull on the cord. No smell or smoke. I mainly got the fuel for my Zippo hand warmers with platinum catalyst burners. Very little smell produced, better than Zippo lighter fluid. So should also work in Zippo lighters. Works out 2.5 times cheaper than Zippo lighter fluid. I highly recommend it.

      Works fine, even after prolonged storage in hedge cutter.

      Works, including after prolonged storage over Winter in hedge cutter. Hopefully, judging from manufacturer claims, it leads to less deterioration in engines than would petrol, especially petrol degraded during storage, but I can't comment on that. It's not 'amazing', or 'better than expected', that's the only reason I don't give more than 3 stars, which is 'okay'. I'm happy with it.

      Aspen Fuel

      Rather expensive being a petroleum distillate, but if you want carburated stuff to run after a cold winter, instead of flattening batteries, or pulling your arm out of joint, this stuff is indispensable, usual precautions, concerning fuels, but unlike pumped, does have a very good shelf life, Believe me I have tried, adding measured amount of clean soft water, to 5ltres of sooper dooper clean your engine £1.80 per ltr junk, shake it all up leave for 4 hours, syphon out the bottom layer. Your original say Litre of water has magically grown, this is because, Ethanol which is Organic is more readily miscible with water, another organic, unlike petrol which is inorganic, whats left you may have to add petrol anti knock but that's okay coz it's a good old petroleum distillate. or if you just ...

      A better mower fuel.

      Just replaced aged petrol mower after a troublesome year, spending too much time and money on unsuccessful repairs. Increasingly problems arise on the rapid deterioration of fuel during the gardening season. which can be costly - so I was delighted to learn on the lasting qualities of Aspen. It came, well packed and in a strong container so the ability to store is more economical and helps to look on the cost more kindly. Used mower once with no perceptible fumes and instant (electric) starting. Pleased to have bought it - apparently not well known (flyer enclosed with new mower) and I will be recommending Aspen.

      Superb alternative fuel
