    A absolute must for any household.

    A smoke alarm is a smoke alarm, that is until you need it! It seems really good quality and is manufactured by a respected company. The idea of having a unit with a battery that will keep it powered until the end of its life is really good. Changing the battery is something that many people often overlook as is replacing the unit at the end of it's life with disastrous consequences. Highly recommended.

    Hope it doesn't fail after 3 years like the previous identical one!

    As a smoke alarm I presume it woks well, thankfully this has never been tested in a real scenario. It was bought to replace an identical model that failed (started sounding for a few seconds randomly) after 3 years, it made installation much easier. Should this one, or the other one I have, fail again I'll be moving brands. Indeed, I've learned that they come free with British Gas Homecare, so may go down that route next time. The seller was brilliant, I'm very grateful.

    Great Products and excellent value with really fast delivery

    This is an excellent product, exactly as recommended by Hampshire County Council Fire & Safety Inspectors and much cheaper than I can buy locally. Brilliantly fast delivery Both the Fire Extinguisher and the Fire Blanket were very easy to fix to the wall. I have mobility, balance and coordination issues and everyone thinks I had then professionally installed.

    Great smoke/carbon monoxide alarms from Kidde.

    Great products, Kidde. I have a number of these around the house and workshop including carbon monoxide detectors. Very well made and easy to fit. Baseplate screws into the ceiling and then the unit screws into the baseplate turning the unit on automatically. They are understandably sensitive without 'false' alarms as with cheaper units. Great bit of kit and absolutely essential if, like me, you use diesel heaters. My last ones lasted 13 years albeit I should have replaced them at 10 years. Great product and great price for such good quality. Yes, you can buy much cheaper ones but it's your choice. Recommended.
