    Prompt delivery. Used with vintage/ classic old .. Cyrus tuner Mk1, Myst TMA3 amplifier. Myst tuner input is at 150mv, tuner output is 1V a 16.48dB difference. After some experimenting the -20dB setting produced the best results equal to the tuner using the less sensitive CD input. Well made useful accessory. Thank you.

    Attenuating your excitment

    How exciting can they be? Well they seem to work OK. Being able to flip between -10, -15 and -20 is useful, particularly if you don't know exactly ow many dBs you need to loose. Being able to lock (as is possible with some rca jacks) would be nice because the whole thing is quite long and can be disturbed if anyone is rummaging around behind the equipment. Of course, that would push the price up. There are some attenuates on the market that cost a lot more and some people assert that they sound a lot better. Well .... they are only a couple of resistors so it hard to believe there is all that much difference.

    Perfect product!

    These two components solved all my volume challenges in my vintage high-fidelity stereo system. I recomend these 100%! I mounted them between the amplifiers Pre-out and Main-in, in the amplifiers input for Main-in, after the Pre-out and the equalizer in use.

    I am pleased because it reduces the volt...

    I am pleased because it reduces the voltage from a modern cd player connected to the tuner input of my 50 year old Armstrong amplifier which previously was overloading the amp causing distortion through the speakers making it impossible to enjoy the music. Now I can.
