    Tonal satisfaction at an economic price.

    I purchased these after a considerable exploration of available strings, many ex guitar by recommendation of more experienced players than I. This is the first set of complete steel strings that have given satisfaction. They have, to my ear, cosistant tonal grade where many of the offered options have a 'step' between top and bottom pairs. This can have advantages for experienced jazz and blue players but the DADI strings provide the newer player with considerable balance and the experienced players I have given the opportunity to play my instrument so strung have all been impressed with the result. Well done DADI and it does not cost a fortune. If you are searching give them a whirl it is an affordable experiment and the tensions are sensible for a Baritone ukeulele. Although I have a ...

    Great price, nice tone

    Great price, nice tone, were perfect for trying out steel strings on my new Caramel baritone uke - felt safe enough as it has a truss-rod (I wouldn't put them on an instrument that didn't have one). It has made the baritone into basically a small tenor guitar that can be tuned DGBE or CGEA - and yes, the intonation isn't perfect due to the straight bridge, but not enough out to be a problem.
