Sheltered teens Kathy (Carey Mulligan), Ruth (Keira Knightley), and Tommy (Andrew Garfield) all grew up at a remote English boarding school, and now they're hungry to explore the real world. Their dreams of freedom are soon stifled, however, upon learning that they are nothing more than clones created specifically for organ harvesting. Now, in addition to confronting their own mortality, all three must come to terms with a lifetime of emotions and unfulfilled longings while pondering their true purpose for being.

    Probably just not for me but well acted !

    This a very very heavy and quite disturbing film that I cannot make my mind up on as the cast are brilliant but the storyline is odd and quite disturbing! I did not enjoy it and it has no way of ending happily. It is just tragic and left me depressed and unhappy on a first viewing! I might try watching it again as the acting is brilliant but the material upset me and I did not like it as entertainment. Will probably end up giving it away and it was quite expensive too. I cannot really recommend the plot and message in this upsetting film SOKR
