No reason given, DESPITE ASKING THEM WHY TWICE, I ALSO WAITED 1 DAY TO GIVE THEM TIME TO RESPOND. Before bidding I asked if they would send signed for & not special D it is expensive, they said "sure".     Great printer, does everything I need it to do

    I've only had this printer for a few days now but so far I've been very pleased with it. It's important to install the official drivers for it on Windows if you want to do duplex printing (i.e. printing on both sides of the page) because the default driver will print the second page upside down! Once you've got it set up with wifi (note: it only supports 2.4GHz) I was able to do duplex printing directly from my iPhone and MacBook as well as my Windows PC. The print quality itself was very good, the colour reproduction was good and edges were sharp and once the data has spooled to the printer it prints very fast regardless of whether it's text or images. Pages do tend to come out slightly curled, I think it's the heat. Maybe my paper is just cheap or not suitable for a laser ...

    An Excellent General Purpose Printer

    Only had it a month but so far so good. Very well packaged and good clear installation instructions. Quite a bit bigger than I'd thought originally (especially taller), but since it has replaced a B&W laser printer and a colour inkjet this isn't a problem. Connected easily to my Windows 10 PC via a USB cable (haven't tried it on WiFi). Works fine and very quiet. Not as fast as my previous HP B&W laser, but still quite quick. Colour not as good as my previous inkjet for printing photos on photographic paper, but quite adequate for everyday printing on ordinary paper. All-in-all an excellent piece of kit, so far very satisfied.

    Another Brother

    After veering into murky water with another printer make, I came back to Brother as the most reliable, trouble-free printer I have ever owned was a Brother. This one is super-easy to set up, I have a Mac and that’s where the problems normally start... And it works a treat, wirelessly from all devices too.
