    Oscar performances!

    Honestly, I have seen the movie over these years and love it. I am an old man, grew up Alabama and feel like I lived it. However, before I could actually watch this disc, my Blue ray died. If you check my more recent purchases, you will see I have ordered another player but not received it to date.

    Superb entertaining movie

    I love this movie, set during 30'sdepression era, Waxsahacie farming community. On of the better movies out there, I could really relate, love Sally Field, easy for me to relate to.

    Places in the Heart a great feel good movie.

    Heartwarming sincere story. Almost a "chick-flick" but a great story just the same. The characters are engaging and the story is gentle and believable. This is one of my all time favorite movies. Hats off to Danny Glover and Sally Fields!
