Unfortunately not finally fitted because when fitted, connector to push button sub-board didn't stay in place (pillar securing motherboard broke/crumbled and was remade too high. Original bios chip re-fitted with same fault. When pillar problem corrected, old bios chip now worked. Because the solder pads are small, not yet plucked up courage to refit new chip, so not yet tested. You need to remove mothrboard, a hot air blower to remove bios chip, and be careful to not disturb other components.

Sorry your having problems fitting this chip, Hot air really is a must for these chips. I have had a few customers that have pulled pads off the motherboard trying to remove the old chip. its always best to watch a few videos on YouTube if you have not done one of these chips before. Good luck mate.
