    Great product.

    Can't recommend highly enough. Previously tried other products to repair a leaking power steering switch but none of them worked. Quik Steel did the job and was really easy to work with. Glad to have it in my tool cupboard.

    Not so magic

    I was expecting more from this product. Filled an oversized hole in aluminum inserted a bolt then worked the material around it before it cured. It did leave a perfect thread, left it for 24hrs to fully cure. I was impressed initially, the threaded repair was to be used to clamp down a retaining plate, but under 20lbs of torque it crumbled and threaded the hole. Probably ok for hanging weight from a bolted bracket but if your clamping eg water pump, inlet/exhaust manifold, stick to a heli coil threaded insert or over size the hole and tap it. Good for liquid leaks though.

    Easily mixed & can be worked like putty

    I found it easy to use but you have to work fast, it will start to 'skin' after 2-3 minutes then it will set fairly soon after.

    Quick exhaust fix

    Just follow the instructions. Make sure everything is clean . Mound the putty until it changes colour . Fill hole , sets sin about 4 minutes , solid in about an hour . Still in place now , would recommend this product.
