It's not worth the bother to replace so I'm just going to put some wood in so the shelf doesn't bow. Apart from that the bed is very easy to construct and excellent quality.

Minor point, the central legs needs a spreader plate, to spread the load to negate a hole in your carpet see photo. However Yodel failed to deliver on the day, they couldn't fined the address? Delivery btwn 7&9 pm on the 17.04 message @ 19.49 can't find the address @ 19.53 parcel back at the depot, yet the week before not a problem. Anyway it came the next day so kids happy. Top ebayer...
