    This item has worked well. I test ran it with the Ryobi 40v Brushless power head and an attachment (hedge trimmer maybe?) on the other end, with no load (not cutting anything) for 10 minutes. There was no unusual noise or any heat build up. I have also used it for hedge trimming for maybe half an hour and works great. I have subsequently purchased the Ryobi Pole Saw, which comes with this extension, and I see no difference between the two. I will (carefully) try my two extensions w/ pole saw.

    This is the same extension used by Hart weed trimmers. I couldn't find a Hart brand extension and found out these are made by the same company that makes Ryobi and they are interchangeable
