    Arduino Pro Micro

    A great little board to use with USB HID features. While it states it's Leonardo Compatible (I think that is due to it using the same 32u4 chip) I haven't tried programming it as a Leonardo as it is exactly the same as a Sparkfun Pro Micro, same pinouts & everything. So I recommend you go to Sparkfun's website for the spec sheet/pinouts & FAQ's, plus they have downloads to add this board to the Arduino IDE rather than using the inbuilt Leonardo board setting

    Superfast delivery, perfect item

    These small Arduino boards include USB HID, which means that unlike Nanos etc, they can be easily programmed to emulate a computer USB device such as a keyboard or mouse. This enabled me to convert an old three way foot pedal to operate audio dictation software. The item was competitively priced and amazingly, arrived within 24 hours of my order. All in all, spot on!! NB. the Pro Micro uses the small USB port like a smart phone (smaller than Nano)

    Great piece of kit. Don't forget to use Serial1 when using the hardware serial pins. The number 1 when referring the hardware pins. I.e Serial begin1(9600)and Serial1print( "text")
