Even though the shipping box had a small hole gashed into it the part had no visible damage. I installed it into my Ps3. My Ps3 now works with the game that it was having trouble reading using the old laser mechanism. This seller had the best price on this Blu Ray laser part. Very happy with this seller on this order.

However, the carrier frame has evidence of being harvested, whether this was from an unused unit or not and whether a new laser itself was placed on it is hard to verify. That being said, the unit was installed and operated as expected. Pictures shows leads before being soldered as they were received with unit.
