    A newer take on a classic scent

    Vetiver Extreme is everything the original is with more "darkness" and spicy vetiver at the forefront. An excellent modern take on the must-have classic. While Vetiver starts with the vetiver and fades to soft powder, Vetiver Extreme starts with more dryness and spice. It fades slower and keeps smelling wonderful a bit longer than the original. I love Vetiver during the day (or even before bed) and let prefer Vetiver Extreme for night time out. Someone else wrote a review on BN and stated much the same. Highly recommend Vetiver Extreme! In fact, buy both! They're both wonderful!

    Vetiver Extreme...extremely disappointed

    Well when I saw that Gurlain introduced a new Vetiver for men called Vetiver Extreme I had to try it out because I have been a big fan of Vetiver since 1980. In fact it's the only cologne I wear. I have never purchased any other cologne EVER! But I have to say that I am not all that impressed with Vetiver Extreme. To me there is nothing in this scent that even reminds me of the original. So I'm kind of disappointed. I thought that it would be and hoped it would be like Vetiver on steroids instead it was more like a new different scent that does not smell like what I had hoped for. I won't wear it because it doesn't smell like the original. But it does smell ok when I use it as an air freshener.

    Not as good as Guarlain Vetiver Original

    It smells very nice (very nice) but lasts about two seconds. It still is not as good as the original. But a nice alternative to your grooming arsenal just to mix things up. I don't think I would buy it again. I might... Yea, I will..
