    The 'Write' mechanical pencil for me!

    I write and draw a lot not that by seeing the finished articles you would believe it but I do this to try and keep my hands limber as I suffer from acute tendonitis which means my fingers don't close. this also means I cannot hold a pen or pencil without strapping it to my fingers using elastic bands, not a great method but one which works well enough for me. I also need pens or pencils which have a 'strong' feel to them, light pens or pencils just break so without seeing the item I can only hazard a guess as to what it will be like when it arrives. This Pentel Graph-gear pencil is superb, it has a nice weight to it, it a good size in diameter and oddly enough the leads .7mm are strong enough to take my heavy-handedness without breaking, another bonus in my eyes.     Rolls Royce of retractable pencils

    Pentel Graphgear 1000s are amazing. Very comfortable in the hand with a coloured rubberised grip. Very reliable lead delivery. Best feature is the retractable lead which allows clipping it into top pocket without drawing on your shirt. I use the 0.5, 0.7 and 0.9 with various grades of lead. I wouldn't be without them.....Invest and enjoy.

    Simply the best

    Lovely solid feel. Excellent grip. Using it is a delightful experience. Push the top down to extend the lead ready to write. Press the top of the pocket grip to retract the lead and the feed tube as well. No more holes in your pockets, not from this beauty. I have used other draughtsman mechanical pencils but this one ticks all the right boxes.

    Highly recommended

    Excellent product. I have quite a few of these now and have decided to put one in the office, home and car (ideal for car because it has no issues with dried ink/leaks and writes on all types of paper - although this is true of any pencil). Simple design, robust, light, comfortable and functional: just perfect.
