    The quality is exactly as described by the seller as well as shown in the pictures, which involved a crease on one corner. But for a book this old, I can't complain as it was hard to find! Have to give the seller credit for using actual pictures of the book and not some generic stock photo that other people have used.     Any movie with Julie Andrew's is more than worth the expense.

    When I started looking at R&H Cinderella videos, I wasn't aware that Julie Andrew's had started in one of the productions available. So, of course, I had to order it. It has slightly different plot and musical selections, But I still like it.

    Pure Vintage Perfection

    With the popularity of the new Rodgers and Hammerstein Cinderella Broadway Production, this is a rare treasure that fans need. This film has been remade twice: first with Lesley Warren and later with Brandy in the 1990's. This is the ORIGINAL production that Mr. Rodgers and Mr. Hammerstein produced back in the 1950's. I think it is a necessity to have next to the other two versions. Also, this film is rare and hard to find. When you see one for sale, grab it! Only complaint: when this originally aired, it was in beautiful technicolor on TV. All that exists now is the black and white negatives from the film. Even though the DVD does not show the original glory, it is still a great film with the talent of Julie Andrews.

    A complete GEM and Historical Video

    I was very entertained with the 1957 Version of Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. It's really a blast from the past seeing this. Why? First it's LIVE and everyone is doing a superb job. The acting and singling is not stiff. It's very emotional and lively. A very high caliber of talent and skills pulled this off. Some people complain about this is in Black and White. Honestly we are lucky that this was taped off the studio monitor. It's a Gem and historical video

    CINDERELLA was a Great Old time Special in 1957 starring 22 years old JULIE ANDREWS in There. It Did Other Remakes Like LESLIE ANN WARREN in 1964 and WHITNEY HOUSTON One in 1997. Also Fairy God Mother Played By 30 Year Old EDIE ADAMS in This Verison. I Think Edie Adams is Too Young to do Fairy God Mother Part. But I Ratter Have GINGER ROGERS or JEANETTE MacDONALD To Do That Role As A Fairy God Mother. The Songs Is Great. Don't Miss Having 1957 Verison of ROGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA For Your DVD Collection.
