    Great value & a good saving on water bills

    This is the second unit I have purchased to replace my original. The first was bought at least ten years ago and has been used every day. My boiler is a good distance from both kitchen & bathroom so it is important to have maximum hot water flow. The difference, when the CombiSave is set up correctly, is amazing. Before using the CombiSave it took a full bowl of water before the water flow was hot. Using the CombiSave the amount was reduced to less than one litre. A big saving if your water is supplied through a water meter.

    Works as advertised

    Suggestion to manufacturer - the hunting (which can be adjusted-out) might be much less if the valve turns on a little more slowly. Perhaps 2-3 seconds? This would allow time for the boiler burners to ramp-up to the fast flow-rate.

    One of the few energy saving devices that does what it claims to do if fitted correctly

    If properly fitted, it does the job. You have to get used to reduced flow at first - but soon the valve opens when the DHW temperature in the boiler is up enough. Very slight downside is that the valve makes a noise when activated, but, for us, it is in the garage so it is not so much of a problem. It definitely saves water, and I see how it saves gas as well as the boiler is not working as hard in the initial firing phase.

    Well made valve

    This is a well made valve, it comes with clear instructions and a pipe cutting template. Advise you watch the online video to see the installation and setting up procedure. I personally think it will save me more water than gas as my boiler had hot water preheat turned off already.
