    As described. I have used it to reduce from a 68mm above going down into to a 40mm pipe. Does require some elbow grease and wiggling to push the 40mm pipe into the rubber but the point is to get a good seal.

    I must admit I was surprised at how really difficult it was to get the 40mm pipe into the rubber union and get the rubber union into the plastic bit. Maybe this was because I needed the 40mm pipe to connect to the smaller end for a horizontal fitment. So perhaps I had not approached this in the right way but with no real instructions and needing the job done before today's deluge I had time against me.
