Nice lot of usable connections and with the added benefit of being able to use banana plugs for speaker connections. Would have been great if they had added a remote control, for convenience if only for the volume control. Not sure if it can decode Dolby digital using the digital inputs optical/ coaxial, haven't tried yet.

No HDMI input, so not to be confused with a full AV amp, but using a small HDMI- audio converter, it can accept the optical out to process 5.1 film audio, while the splitter's HDMI out goes on to a TV. As compact as it's going to get.
