    When Godley and Crème, two of the songwriters from 70’s pop supergroup 10CC, developed the Gizmo, a guitar mounted device that allowed the instrument to be played in a new and unique way, they decided to make a recording to showcase these new sounds. Originally envisioning a 45rpm vinyl ‘single’ the recording sessions soon extended to fill an entire album, and after comedy genius Peter Cook was recruited to provide a storyline and dialogue between a series of songs featuring the Gizmo the whole thing ended up as a three album concept box set. This CD offering includes the original box set as well as the various albums released subsequently, including the music from consequences and an edited highlights version.

    Great to listen to this classic Godley and Creme CD set of 5 which was a pleasent surprise. Both the LP Album and Cassette package I bought when first released was 3x records and 3x cassette tapes. All in all, a plesing purchase with past memories being awoken.
