    Vanish ..not

    We buy many Vanish products ... but found this carpet cleaner disappointing. We tried to removed spot stains on a light coloured carpet,, but ineffective after several attempts. But it worked well on stain on white settee cover. C'est la vie. Barrie Tracey

    Worked a treat on rug tassels.

    I clean carpets and rugs professionally and tried this product on dirty rug tassels. The results were very satisfactory. Firstly I made the tassels wet with just clean water and left it for an hour. Then I sprayed the tassels with this product giving them plenty of foam and left it for half an hour. Then I use a small brush to gently clean the tassels. Worked a treat and I'm very impressed as I don't usually use household products on carpets.

    Works effectively

    I used this on part of a carpet and on upholstery. It worked well and is easy and quick to use. It also cleaned the grubby arms (nylon fabric) on a folding camping chair.
