    Superb album

    Listen to the 'The Stage' and AX7's first release, 'Sounding the Seventh Trumpet' and it's like listening to two different bands. They have matured and developed so much up to this release. Might not be too all die hard fan's taste but I love it. There are the customary twin guitar harmonies that are so so familiar to all AX7 fans throughout the album. The title track makes an excellent concert opener and builds to some amazing guitar work, 'Sunny Disposition' has shades of 'A Little Piece of Heaven' with some horn work mixed in with some great guitars, there are no fillers on this album. Although a much more refined sound to earlier albums, it is much less commercial than 'Hail to the King' and its a LONG album!. Their is an outstanding 15 minute+ epic that closes the album.     Broken

    It got to me on time but it was a present and it turned up with massive cracks all on front cover. I had ordered various cds recently and they all had arrived fine with nothing broken. Maybe they need to wrap the cds up better!
