    A powerful little device!

    Easier to use than I was expecting. A little difficult for me to set up as having quite a new laptop it had no cd drive for the disc. Fortunately I found an external dvd drive to us to make it all come together. Then I downloaded an update from Roxio to unlock new features. Surprisingly good results from such a tiny USB device. Would by again or recommend to others.

    Complete Waste of Money

    Purchased this item because the write up praises this unit as being one of the best buys. Unfortunately i did not get to use it really as problems started right from go after connecting it up to VHS Player and Windows XP Laptop. I started playing the very first video to capture it within the Roxio unit. After approximately 10 minutes after starting the VHS tape playing i noticed the there was a massive time delay within the VHS audio. The video was way in front of the audio, i tried a different tape but got the same results. After seeking advice i tried making various adjustments within the Laptop settings but once again still the same problem. I purchased this because as i said earlier the write up was portraying this as a brilliant Accessories to have to help convert VHS video tapes to ...

    Head and shoulders above all others

    Excellent piece of hardware/ software, very easy to use and encodes video very clearly, head and shoulders above anything else out there, if you are using Win 10 make sure you update software prior to usage after that plain sailing 😀

    Extremely useful for uploading older video tapes.

    Functions as described. Sometimes has a problem transferring 16:9 videos - these end up being 4:3. The format of the screen for this product is 4:3 ratio, so it seems outdated. Otherwise really useful as current computers do not support firewire.
