        Hands Down Amazing....

        Could not put this book down πŸ˜† Author has amazing way of storytelling. I could actually hear Aunt Lidia’s voice as I read..., I read a lot of books. I write many reviews. Some are accepted. Some are discussed and disputed. I appreciate my criticisms as much as I appreciate this literary work of art. Atwood is brilliant, sophisticated and artful. No other will match her. Hands down amazing.

        Not as interesting as I had hoped

        I was enthralled by The Handmaid's Tale and was very much looking forward to reading The Testaments, but I don't love it. The chapters keep switching who is narrating the chapters and I'm having trouble keeping up with whose point of view it is being written from. I'm also finding it a bit boring, as the plot really doesn't have a lot of excitement.

        Ms. Atwood is an amazing author. "The Testaments" is a must read as a follow up to "The Handmaid's Tale'. Her words are almost prophetic and a real and present warning to women in America. (and the world)

        30+ years for a sequel; WELL worth the wait

        Any Margaret Atwood or Handmaids Tale fan will greatly enjoy this book. It’s not a β€œsequel” per se, but rather a continuation decades in the future of how Gilead has affected those involved. Don’t expect this to be seasons 2 and on of the show. It’s a whole new story and AMAZING

        This sequel was better than the original!

        Although I loved The Handmaid's Tale, this sequel was so much better! It was easier to read and tied together several events from the original book. The Testaments was also a great follow up to the HULU TV series.
