    Expensive for what it is but it transforms the internet in our rural position. Goodbye landline!!

    It works well but as routers go, its quite expensive for one that does not have gigabit ethernet. I use it with a Three sim and even though I live in a rural area I can now get 25Mb/s whereas I was getting 4Mb/s with ADSL and 2Mb/s with VDSL - yes it was worse having fibre to the cab than copper! I found I had to use the add on aerials to get these speeds. I then use BT Wholehome to get the WiFi round the house as my walls are really thick. It did seem to have good WiFi for normal houses though. I have also used a set of cordless phones attached to the phone port and this seemed to work OK when I tested it - with unusual dial tones etc but it all worked. I have not used this since though as my landline contract still has a few months to run.

    Good Unit

    No problems with the Huawei unit, only with getting a EE data Sim toped-up(only reliably possible using your mobile dialing them up and then you have to separately add the top-up money to a data plan to use it) and EE's crappy web site. Now it's settled down I'm getting 14.5 mips download/2.5 upload which is fine for the temporary mobile use I want it for. The Huawei picked up the EE sim immediately and required hardly any set up. The unit does need a better stand as it falls over frequently - blue-tack cames in handy. I can also run my SIP phones thru the system.

    A dependable 4G router for home internet.

    Replaced my cable internet at home with this 4G router and halved the monthly cost. The download speed halved but the upload speed tripled. Plugged in a landline phone into the router to act as a second/business number. Unfortunately it's not VoLTE enabled so the internet drops to 3G speeds during a call. The antenna ports were put to good use with an external antenna (purchased seperately), which means the router itself could be positioned conveniently and the rear ports put to good use. The USB port can supposedly be used for storage but the instructions don't explain how to use it. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

    This home broadband unit works great in my area I am very pleased as I can get rid of my fixed line broadband and save myself a lot of money and also won’t have to pay for a landline phone of which I don’t use.a very good item which I can also take on my camping trips.

    Great tool.

    Great tool, works well. I use it with an external pointing aerial & Three SIM. Get 37 download & 26 upload last time I checked. Runs on 12 V, so will be installing stabilised 12 V supply on my boat to run it on.
