Attaching it to my Bernina 807 I had to remove the needle and screw that holds it in place in order to attach the walking foot then replace the needle, and screw through the walking foot forks. I also had to lower the foot in order to bring the bobbin thread up. However once in place the walking foot worked very well and I am pleased with it.
