      Great lighted button. Does not work with Craftsman Assurelink Model 139.54990

      My old Sears Craftsman garage door opener died and was replaced with the nearest current model, 139.54990 with Assure Link technology. The older model worked fine with just a momentary connect switch but the newer one did not. Since some images of the 41A4166 button on the internet showed it to have an integrated circuit I had hoped t might work. No luck. It installed easily and lit but did not affect the door opener at all when pushed. I suppose the button's brains are to let enough current through to light but not to trigger an opener. I wound up buying a Sears Craftsman 41A7569 Compatible Multi-function Wall Control for $27 that did work. If you know all you need is a button to temporarily short the connection than this is a great button.

      Operates the garage door but illumination is very dim.

      This garage door button/switch was a little dissapointing. It works just fine for controling the garage door, but it is supposed to be an illuminated switch. When we installed it, we thought there was a mistake - that we had not infact ordered an illuminated or or something. It wasn't until all the lights were off in the garage that we noticed the very faint green light. so it is in fact illuminated, just very dim, not really much of a benefit.

      Sturdy, works well, and a good value but button illumination is not uniform

      This garage door opener button appears to be sturdy and well made despite being predominantly plastic. Easy installation: 2 wire connection and 2 screw mounting. Operation has been flawless. One quibble though- the green button illumination is bright but not uniform. I installed 2 of them side by side and one has its lamp near the middle of the translucent button and the other has it near the top so that they are not uniform looking. Would not be a problem if only installing one. A good value for under $6 each.

      75LM Chamberlain Sears Craftsman LiftMaster Garage Door Opener Button has its ups and downs !

      Sorry about the pun, but I just had to say it! :) The door opener button appears to be top of the line. Excellent quality. Easy installation. I like the way the button lights up so it is easy to find. I installed the button to where I can open or close my garage door from 2 locations.... My idea works great!

      OEM product, good price

      My garage door was opening randomly during the day and night. Sometimes the yellow light on the back of the opener would flash 3-times (meaning door switch shorted). After removing the button, the problem went away, so replacing the button was the solution. Any doorbell button would have worked, but this one is lighted and works with the control head unit.
