Weiterhin verfügt das Objektiv über einen HSM-Antrieb, welcher für schnelle und lautlose Fokussierung sorgt und auch in jeder Zeit manuell eingegriffen werden kann. Das Lichtstarke Standard-Objektiv ist speziell für all Vollformat und APS-C Sensor-Typen geeignet. Es verfügt über einen Brennweitenbereicht von 0-50mm und entfaltet seine Stärke besonders in der Porträt-, sowie Innenraumfotografie.
