    Good trailer connector

    I chase this partly on price and partly on the reviews. The plastic moulding is good. The contact pins are good heavy duty brass. The contact screw clamps look like zinc plated steel so corrosion is inevitable. However this is only the 3rd connector on my trailer in the past ~30 years, so on average I expect it to last 10 - 15 years

    Works just fine

    This replaced an earlier plug that broke along the plastic hinge. This one will do the same in a few years. Nevertheless it's good value and easy to wire.

    Replace or rewire??

    a 12s 7pin plug is so easy to replace with this!!!! . Why rewire your old plug?? cutting back to good cable, having to mess with old corroded screws, you may as well replace with a new plug especially at the right price!!
