The item I received (after about 3 weeks) was in plastic packaging rather than a retail compact, which is not mentioned explicitly in the listing. For the price I paid I expected it to be as I would have purchased in store, not a 'Tester' style blister pack. Be aware when purchasing cosmetics from this seller.
