The bones should have NEVER been categorized as an XL size. They are not a bit over a size L, for sure. I was VERY disappointed in the size. My dogs appeared to love the way they tasted, which is a plus, but please DO NOT expect their sizes to match up to what else is out there. I guess you get what you pay for.
