    Great looking nesting box and a very good price. For me it had a couple of issues, the mounting is not very satisfactory and allows the box to move in a fairly light breeze and when mounted on a flat vertical surface it is not possible to open the lid. However a spacer fixed both issues and I am really pleased with the item.

    Bird box.

    I bought this bird box design because i was not sure if it fancy ones would stand the test of time. On arrival they (3) were well packed and it was a speedy transaction. They are easy to hang and are very well made. Very pleased all round. Its a pity i cant give more stars.

    Nesting box

    Arrived very quickly but after opening realised the poor quality of the build, in two places nails had pierced through to the inside of the box which I had to remove and replace. build quality is very bad and seems rushed or lack of care not to have noticed the nails. average size box. Hole is rather large at 40mm. 32mm would have been easily large enough for this size of box. I personally would rather have paid a little more for a better quality box, I will in future.

    Bird nest box

    As above the bird box could have done with a smaller hole but on the whole it's not bad the box could maybe being a bit bigger I can't see a family of blue tits nesting in there knowing the size of the clutches they have but it looks good just waiting now maybe a bit late this yr but looking forward to next yr and the residents moving in. As for the construction obviously it's a mass produced thing but on the whole it looks pretty solid the lid lifts of once you undo a little screw . The price I paid I can say ain't bad cheapest I seen on eBay if it does the job then yes I'd say it's worth every penny.

    Basic bird box

    This is a basic box, cheap enough but I had to modify it. The rear hanging point is inadequate as it does not secure the box tightly to wherever you hang it, maybe only a very flat surface. I had to modify it by placing a wood bar longer than the box on the back; this I could then fix at the top and at the bottom to make the box secure.The entrance hole was too large for Blue Tits so I made metal plate to fit over with a smaller hole and to deter woodpeckers and squirrels.

    Good value for money

    Pleased with these bird boxes, good value for money. We gave them a paint with fencecare to protect. Only trouble found was there were several staples sticking out on the inside of the boxes, which we had to sort out, which we wouldn't have known, had we not unscrewed the tops. Birds will be thankful.
