    Good but...

    Easy to fit BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER SOLDERING IRON. The connections to the element are soldered. There are 3 wires, the one that is a different length is the earth. I can't remember whether it is shorter or longer (on the old one it was the opposite). My biggest problem was removing the bit from the old element (both nearer thirty than twenty years old). to transfer it to the new one. Works very well. It is so long ago I can't tell if it is better or worse than when the original was new.

    All ANTEX soldering irons are the best for my work repairing TVs, satellite receivers, andHD recorders. Thank you.

    I bought my first 15watt iron for really small soldiering jobs, when the element went oc I could not by a new element I had to buy a new 15watt iron. Then when I saw a advert for a new element I bought one now I have two small 15watt irons and two TCS50 watt irons all are ANTEX. THANK YOU.
