I would have appreciated advance notice of delivery so that I could have arranged for someone to help me get it off the pallet and into the garage - as a 76 year old Munchkin it was a more than daunting ask to do it alone. Finally managed it with just the loss of one nail but wouldn't want to repeat the process. Apologies that you were not given any notice of delivery, we do give strict instruction to the hauliers to give an hour's notice at all times but this is occasionally looked over. Unfortunately we cannot do anything about the weight of slabs, it is a hefty material to transport and as a result is reflected in the freight costings. Thank you for your feedback though.
