The horror unfolds within the confines of an eerie insane asylum in the second series of this acclaimed thriller. Set in 1964 (with jumps to present day), the Asylum season digs into the dark pasts of the hospital's patients, doctors and administrators. Jessica Lange returns to the series as Sister Jude, a troubled nun who quickly finds herself at odds with the twisted Arthur Arden (James Cromwell), a doctor with a penchant for experimental procedures. Zachary Quinto is also back as Dr. Oliver Thredson, a psychiatrist, while Sarah Paulson plays journalist Lana Winters in her return. Other familiar faces include Evan Peters and Lily Rabe, while newcomers Lizzie Brochere, Chloe Sevigny and Joseph Fiennes provide welcome additions to the talented cast.

    Love this show

    After receiving seasons 3 (Coven) and season 5 (Hotel) as a birthday gift and really enjoying them I bought season 1 (Murder House) and also this season 2 (Asylum). I really enjoyed this season- great cast, great storyline with plenty twists and turns you don't expect!

    I am very addicted to this franchise. Actors are brilliant and the writers and producers have certainly utilised all their talents. Music is spot on, I even find myself having certain songs in my head for days on end My favourite show of all time!!! Well done to Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck!

    The Best By Far!

    I'm a huge American horror story fan,But this one by far is the best.The characters are played very well by the same actors and actresses in each season each character suites there role which makes it so much better Kit played by Evan peters is outstanding he is a truly talented young actor and the story is so gripping you want more and more episodes and the different types of story's come together in the end it's not a disappointment this is an absolutely fantastic series and I'm so glad that I have bought this DVD πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸŽ¬πŸ–₯πŸ“€β€οΈβ€οΈ

    Can’t stop watching!
