    Kuretake watercolour paint

    This is lovely vibrant and transparent paint. I'm new to oriental style painting although have painted western style painting for a number of years. I've tried this paint with xuan and mulberry paper and have been delighted with its effects. I found it differs with the Chinese watercolour paint as its transparent. However, opaque paint also has its place, using both paints can give the painting lifelike lively results.

    Superior watercolour paints

    I thought it’s about time I tried some better quality watercolours and after some reviewing of alternative sources I settled on these. They come in a nice box and are full pan size, a good selection of colours including some metallics. Lovely to use and mix, smooth and vibrant. Recommend.
