      Pay a bit more but by jingo it's worth it...

      Had one of these for absolute donkeys years and in end got so rusty I binned it for another, wishing I had been less lazy and cleaned it then kept it. Had a cheapo for past few years. I've just bought my son one for his new job and it's as good and robustly made as the old ones so now buying myself one. Most old stuff has gone down hill in quality but not here, pay a bit more and you'll pay once. Works out better value for your in the long run!!

      Perfect replacement for 25 wattAntex iron.

      This was a replacement for an element that failed after 25 years! It was a perfect replica of the original and was simple to fit. As the connections require soldering it does mean, however,that you will need another soldering iron.

      Antex Silicone cable irons are much superior

      The silicone cabled version of these irons is vastly superior to the cheaper, pvc cabled jobbies! The silicone cable is way-more flexible to work with. The pvc on a light-weight iron is like barge-rope. Spend the extra!
