I use it for board sailing (during winter and spring), over a wet suit to reduce wind chill. It is put on over the head; the chest area being closed with Velcro seams. The neck is elasticated and also adjusted with a Velcro strap. The elasticated wrists are tight for big hands but are fine once in place. I think the spraytop is good value for money, but not for serious sailing on the sea.
