      Very good on the whole.

      On the whole I am very pleased with this. The refurbishment is very good and it looks like new, with an installation disk, booklet, USB to printer cable and a good text printing result, but I had trouble connecting it even though I have been setting up Epson printers for years. I finally managed by means of the WPS facility on my router. The main problem, however, was colour printing. The test sheet enclosed was text, and it was when I was printing a colour item that I noticed problems, so I had to run through the maintenance process of nozzle cleaning etc, and I think that it is now sorted. I have never bought a refurbished model before, but feel right at home with this printer, so I hope that it is going to give me as good an experience as the XP model I bought from new. I wanted ...

      An excellent replacement

      This printer replaced an identical one that had a terminal fault. I had spare ink cartridges that I didn't want to waste - hence the purchase. It needed an inkjet clean to get started, then printed very well. I wanted to return my old printer (for free), but had no reply to my enquiry about this.
