      Not designed for Nextbase 402

      This cable’s end fitments are very different from the original - the original power plug was a short straight normal one whereas the new one has a clunky pistol-grip shape. The plug which fits into the Nextbase itself was again a straight line into the unit from the top - this one is a right angled device which would have been ok if it had fitted 180 deg round the other way because the cable is squeezed hard against the central bracket holding the unit on the windscreen. Note that the cable is nothing like the one in the photograph advertising it and I should have returned it solely on that misleading mis-description basis. Not happy.

      One of the best Dash-Cams on the market

      Brilliant piece of equipment, just purchased this one for my partner, I have had one hard wired in two years ago, a definite "Bacon Saver" had an accident on the M62 coming home, pulling my twin axle caravan at 55 mph on the inside lane, I was side swiped by this Muppet who claimed that I pulled across into the middle lane causing the accident, "caught on dash-cam" this could have gone 50-50, his insurance company had to admit liability, "winner winner, chicken dinner" Should be made compulsory to have one fitted, cover your back and get one fitted, "what can't speak can't lie"
