      High protein, low calorie, zero carb, cupboard storage until opened - super convenient & versatile!

      I'm just starting to use tofu as a new vegan and as this product can be stored in a cupboard until opened it's really convenient. Extra firm already has less water than standard tofu so has more protein per weight which is important if, like me, you workout to gain muscle. Each individual 349g pack has 26g of protein, 7g of fat, 0g carbs and is only 178 calories. The neutral flavour means it can be flavoured with sweet, sour, savoury, spicy, herbs, or neutral like a yogurt, pretty much any taste you want. Can now make things like low fat, no oil, high protein vegan mayo and vegan egg salad sandwiches (which I've been really missing!) I've checked with my local recycling, here in Leeds UK and the Tetra Pak packaging can be recycled. Haven't found this extra firm version in any of the 3 ...

      Expensive but good.

      I normally use the FIRM silken tofu but lose about 20-25% in whey. There is virtually no whey in this product (extra firm) which saves messing about draining it. It Is roughly twice the price of the firm version, depending on where you buy it from. I do like it and will keep some on standby for when I’m in a hurry.......or just feeling lazy! If I could buy it in larger quantities at a lower price, I would - but at this price it’s rather a luxury for me. I use a lot of silken tofu so this product could quickly bankrupt me!
