    Worth it for peace of mind and more

    This UV lens simply the does the job that is expected of it whilst additionally and perhaps most importantly protecting my considerably more expensive wide angle lens. The filter is lightweight, well made, easy to fit and competetively priced. The product is a worthwhile investment both photographically and for peace of mind.

    No antireflective coating

    This is just a clear filter without any antireflective coating. For this reason is usable just in few circumstances. I din't realise it when I've read the description but after using it once I've quickly ordered a better one. Don't ruin the quality of you photo with a highly reflective UV Filter.

    Does the job.

    Fits well. Works. Seems fine. I can not compare it with any other filter since it is the one I have for the lens. A camera shop filter was twice the price but this was not the cheapest.

    Hoya UV Filter, great value for money.

    This is a good filter, it is not the cheapest and it is not the absolute best but it got good results in the only proper thorough test that I have seen, done at lens rentals by Roger Cicala. It is good value for money.

    Hoya Polarising Filter

    Bought this filter, for my partner, to replace a linear polariser which obviously didn’t suit the digital camera she has. Massive difference with colour saturation. The blues are deeper and the greens ‘boosted’. Well happy with the results!
