    Stove installers should use is it for all new installations

    My old vent was supposed to be draught resistant but was a joke. The DR21 makes so much sense in its design as it allows the wood burning stove to draw the air it requires rather than having a gale blowing through the standard vent 24 hours a day, I found that at times I needed to light a few logs just because of the cold draughts howling through my old standard vent. The only criticism I have about the DR21 is that I would have preferred perhaps a bayonet attachment of the two halves rather than using glue or silicon but I cannot deny it is a superior product to the standard vent and stove installers should use is it for all new installations. It's a simple case of someone thinking in three dimensions rather than two, Great but simple idea.

    Outer cover will not stay in place unless you use a strong glue.

    The product looks as if it will do the job I bought it for however, the fixing is not the best or easiest you will need sealant to make it water tight also some good strong glue to make the outer cover stay on.

    Vent in one colour

    A good well made vent but a little expensive. Only available in black, should be made in other colours. I had to spray mine with plastic paint. A black vent on a white wall looked terrible.

    Great product

    What a difference. So easy to fit. No more cold drafts. Our wood burner is working better than ever. We are using less fuel because we don't have to fill it up so much to keep warm. It should be a standard fit with every wood burner installation.

    DR21 vent cover, brilliant product!!

    I made the mistake of installing another company’s vent which claimed to be draught free, which it wasn’t at all cooled my room far too much. Installed the DR21 and what a difference no draught, condensation or noise anymore. Amazing result if your wondering if you should buy one just do it, you won’t regret it.
