    Great item

    This was for my father-in-law who wanted something to take outdoors to listen to his tapes and he LOVES this. He said it is easy to carry and the sound is great, he is very happy with it. I think it was an awesome item :)

    + Very compact. Control panel is very intuitive. CD player very stable, not prone to skipping. Priced very reasonably. Sounds great through headphones. Ac/Dc very nice. - Radio tuning is a small rotary dial, somewhat difficult to fine tune. Speakers are adequate but not high fidelity. No tone controls. Sum: good unit, great price. 4 1/2*
