I.e. it tends to slip off the shoulders to halfway down the arms. Fixed with a ribbon tie across the shoulders behind the neck to keep the top ‘aperture’ together. This may well be less of a problem the thinner the wearer, but any ‘strain’ can only be accommodated by it slipping down from the top.
