On installing the unit found the volume pot to be broken, looks like someone had pushed the knob onto the spindle and this has pushed the back off the pot. it was a good price, seller offered a £40 discount for showing a interest and saving the item, so no negative feedback and apart from the volume control issue, this has been a easy repair finding a 10k pot and replacement knob on eBay.
