    A perfect title as Jane Pittman's story proceeds and is told to a magazine journalist.

    Cicely Tyson is marvelous in her portrayal of the fictional character in this film. An excellent supporting cast makes the story that much better and stronger.

    Cicely Tyson is mesmerizing! As she embodies a 20 something year old all the way up to 110 years of age. Her captivating performance coupled with great writing makes for an incredible movie. A definite must see!!

    Remarkable

    This is a story of Faith, Wisdom, Understanding & Love. Jane Pittman was a true survivor & a remarkable Storyteller. I saw this movie when I was 16, now I'm 65. I have the movie & now the book. It is just as good today as it was in the 70's.
