    Decent bit of kit from Oxford.

    It does exactly what you'd expect, easy to fit to handlebars. In very small print, it is recommended to join into a switched circuit on the motorbike. However, this entails splicing into the wiring loom, so having a switch built in would be a great enhancement.

    Oxford 12v Dual USB Socket

    One of these was fitted to my used bike when I bought it, however it had been fitted direct to the battery. After a few month it stopped working, the quality looked good so I ordered the same, only this time I wired it through a relay so it only came on when the ignition is on. Im not sure if the old one failed due to always being on or not....only time will tell.

    Good product

    All as expected and easy to fit, however I have 2 issues with the product. The cable from the socket to the battery is quite short, I had to extend it on a normal sized 1 litre bike, and the sat nav (a new Tom Tom) when on charge dims the background, an issue others have blogged.
