    Nice meter but bad design

    The meter works well and is helpful. But I greatly prefer the old pin-type General Moisture Meter because it would fit in a pocket. I work as a home inspector and need to carry a moisture meter comfortably while crawling through tight spaces. This new meter has "ergonomic" design, so it's comfortable in your hand, but it's impossible to fit into any pocket in my coveralls. I will still carry it to my jobs, but I'm in the market for something that works better for me.

    Great Product

    Works great. Was able to check a spot in my ceiling to see if the stain was old or if I still had an active leak. Then I used it up check the wood for my fireplace to see if it was dry enough to burn.
