    Don't buy Halfords crap - buy Bosch

    When I bought an old Ford Focus as a second car I needed new windscreen wipers immediately. Halfords only had their own brand in the right size, so I went for them. Given that they wore out much quicker than the Bosch ones, I luckily ordered a pair of these. They arrived, and I left them in the boot of my car to fit later. Yesterday (Friday, 03 February 2017) I was coming down the M40 in driving rain. Suddenly, the Halfords one broke off, leaving me going down the motorway in peak hour traffic, at speed and in the driving rain with no working windscreen wipers. I ended up on the hard shoulder with lorries going past inches from me while I fitted these Bosch ones. No idea what I would have done if I did not have had these ones in the boot.
